What’s a Medical Nail Technician?

This is a licensed nail technician who practices aseptic techniques and can perform nail care on chronically ill or clients with at-risk health conditions in a medical setting or a in a spa/salon setting. This nail technician IS NOT a medical professional and does not diagnose or give medical advise. He/She has been trained to recognize when a client can or can not receive a service and refers the client to a podiatrist or other medical professional. A medical nail technician has completed rigorous course work above what is required in cosmetology school and has completed an in depth internship with a medical professional such as a podiatrist. He/She works within the scope of practice that is defined by the state board of his or her licensure. A medical nail technician's knowledge, training, and commitment to the health and safety of all clients is what sets him/her apart.

I love it. I found her on IG because I was tired of my 2 big nails not growing and needed a specialist in this area without toxic chemicals. Very detailed. I love my toes and the plan she has for me. I have seen a podiatrist and had acrylics on my toes which made the nails worse. She is phenomenal with the care of your feet, products, service and more.
